Often described as the #1 industrial location in the country near the intersection of the I-10 & I-15 freeways in the Inland Empire West ("IEW"), Hillwood and NASCAR are so far successfully navigating through the always challenging EIR process in California with approval last Thursday, September 8th, by the County of San Bernardino Planning Commission to recommend certification of the EIR to the County Board of Supervisors for the 6.6 million square foot ACS Logistics Center.

The Hillwood / NASCAR team took great pains and made exceptional commitments to satisfy many stakeholders from all areas of the community, particularly the local union workers, residents and environmental groups. To ensure that what will hopefully become the country’s most sophisticated, leed certified, and environmentally sensitive logistics center, it will be built and operated by skilled members of local trade unions.

Despite headline news that seems to be either all about Amazon now giving up space and what that means for logistics or local cities in the Inland Empire ("IE") imposing development moratoriums, the future of industrial in the IE appears quite strong as vacancy is less than 1% (yes - not a typo!).

Corion is very proud to have been selected by NASCAR to help NASCAR and Hillwood on this journey and looks forward with anticipation and excitement to the Board of Supervisors hearing next month. As NASCAR’s transaction and capital markets advisor, Corion was able to significantly Impact Alpha for NASCAR and Hillwood with a highly sophisticated transaction process that formed the foundation of this winning formula.

If you need a transaction advisor and capital markets expert to help you Impact Alpha with your property, no matter what it is or where it is, Corion can help. Just give us a call, email us, or go to our website at www.corionenterprises.com

We look forward to hearing from you.
